Our 2nd Child & 3rd House
Wowowowo. Dah berzaman aku tak update blog ni. Sampai kene sound ngan silent reader blog ni. Siap suruh tutup je blog ni pasal tak update. Hahaha. Appologize for that. But anyways, we just got our 2nd bundle of joy about 2 months ago. We named her Alisha Sarah. She's just so adorable. Alhamdulillah syukur, we now have a pair of wonderful and cheeky kids!! Sleepless night starts all over again. Not for me, but for my wife. Peace!
Last July, we bought our 3rd house. But this time, it's a house for us to settle down since our family has expanded. Since dah almost 5 years living in an apartment in Kajang, rasa dah terbiasa dgn area ni. So, the house location is somewhere around Kajang too! Alhamdulillah, segala urusan pembelian rumah berjalan lancar. Our house is still under construction and should be completed by 2011 year end, insyaAllah. The 1st progressive loan is already disbursed to the developer.
Masa survey housing area tuh, we actually fell in love with the house design, colour schemes and the overall concept of the housing area. Then we went home and, as usual, we did some number crunching. And we passed the test! Hahaha. Sebelum decide beli rumah ni, ada juga terlintas yg Government & BNM akan start tighthening by looking at how crazy the property market environment was at that point of time. With this view in mind, we decided to put our money on the table. Then, terus hantar loan application to almost all banks, to be exact, 8 banks. Hahahaha. We were lucky, sebab the rates offered were very competitive. All we need to do was just choosing which bank we prefer. Voila, all done!
We were considered lucky, sebab since we made our purchased, BNM started to increase interest rates. And quite recently, BNM started to reduce the margin of financing for 3rd house buyers, which is only 70%. Meaning kalo nak beli rumah ketiga, kene letak downpayment 30%!! Gila apa, mana nak korek cash banyak camtuh! Example, kalo rumah harga 300k, kene letak 90k downpayment as opposed to 30k jer last time. Adusssssss!! So, alhamdulillah sempat kitorang beli our 3rd house and letak 10% jer and dapat financing rate yg menariks!
